Thanks to Bonnie E. for pointing this out. Writer’s Digest has an incredible interview with two of the best known authors of our time: Stephen King and Jerry Jenkins. I loved the slant of the interview: it’s focus on faith and how it translates into our written words. Even if you’re not a writer, you’ll enjoy this piece.
In case you missed it, the Christy Awards have been announced. Huge congrats to Cathy Gohlke, a fellow Moody author! Not only did she win a Christy last year for William Henry is a Fine Name, her debut novel, but she rightfully won again for the sequel, I Have Seen Him in the Watchfires. Two of my favorite books, and well deserving of such honor.
Yeah Cathy! She’s also one of my favorite authors. These are awesome books — definitely Wish List, run-out-and-buy-them material.
Blessings,
Susan 🙂
Thank you for the congratulations, Christina! The Christy Awards ceremony in Denver was exciting, amazing, and so very encouraging to “keep on keeping on.” God’s love and generosity in this writing journey–and in all the experiences of my life–takes my breath away. Each day reveals new measures of His love and faithfulness in ways I never imagined. I can’t imagine life without Him at the helm.
I’m looking forward to the release of your book in September! Exciting! Exciting! Exciting! Congratulations!
And Susan–thank you for the encouragement and generous words! I’m so glad you enjoyed both books. May God bless your life and the use of your many gifts for Him!
Many thanks and blessings,
Cathy
Thanks for the link on Stephen King’s interview. I always love to read about him.
Congrats to Christina. That’s great!

I agree totally, Susan!
Cathy, people talk about a “sophomore” novel disappointing. Yours never disappointed. I can’t wait for the next one. 🙂
Lynnette, isn’t he fascinating? Have you read “On Writing?”
