Do you like kiwis? I hope so, because the blog tour is taking us down to New Zealand for Grace Bridge’s review of The Familiar Stranger. A line from the review made me truly gasp aloud. Post it here, and if you’re right you’ll get an extra entry for the drawing.
“Another astonishing layer is uncovered, culminating in one of fiction’s most cunning plot twists to date.” ? That would make ME gasp! Congratulations, girl. Excited and rejoicing with you. Looking forward to the 30th! 🙂
I wish I could come, but I’ll be standing around feeling like a loser at my high school reunion, wondering why I came to hang out w/ people I didn’t fit in with ten years ago…but I’ll definitely be buying your book.
I tell you, just when you think you’ve figured it out – wham! Another astonishing layer is uncovered, culminating in one of fiction’s most cunning plot twists to date.
This?
I hope you had a good time! My hubby had to use the computer last night so I couldn’t join. 🙁
But what awesome comments you’re getting! 🙂
Miriam, you got it! Why am I not surprised. 😉 Almost too good to believe.
Tamara, how did the reunion go? I totally understand what you’re saying, but as the years go by, it seems we actually have more and more in common with former classmates.
Ah, Jessica, it would have been so fun to have you there. The chat was wonderful and the hour flew by. I guess I kind of enjoy talking about myself. 😉
The reunion was a blast, mostly b/c the self-conscious self of my high school years died a long time ago. The kids I wasn’t friends with then…I still don’t have anything in common with today. I had a great time with my old friends. It really reaffirmed for me that I made the right friends back in the day.
