Many children across the world started school today and many parents posted pictures. Do we really need more First Day Pictures?
Yes, because I didn’t want you to miss out the cutest kids in the whole wide world. Feel free to leave comments disagreeing–it’s your duty if you’re a parent to argue for your own.
Since we potentially could have sold the house and moved during the summer, quite a few kids expressed their happiness at our continued attendance. Aw …
Many hugs later, the prinipal came up and congratulated me on the book and asked if I’d seen it.
Seen it? Well, yeah, I have a box of them at home …
Turns out the staff gets to put up a display of books they read over the summer. Well, lookie here!
Blog Tour Stop for today: Jody Hedlund’s VERY popular On the Path. She asked me specifically about agents.
Read her blog first, then come back for an extra bonus–the expanded answer of #2 …
I knew Mom hadn’t gotten much sleep and was planning to nap in the car for the first part of the road trip. I waited until we were stopped for breakfast hours later to share the email—picture snapped right before I did—with her so she could get some rest before experiencing a similar adrenaline buzz.
Then we went outside the McDonalds, which was having the “Hot and Rich” promo for it’s coffee. We decided it could refer to us as well!
(These pics are from 2006) Wow, what a fun trip back in time!
Technically it’s still 9-9-09 in Hawaii, so I didn’t miss posting a day of the tour!
Cute pics! I actually forgot to do my sons until after school.
Hot and rich, lol, sounds good to me! Congrats on having your book up in the school too. 🙂
I took first day of school pics all the way through year 13 (Community College for a year) then at their Universities when we dropped them off. I only missed their JR and SR years of College. My son is home this year and starts Seminary on Monday toward his Masters. I am hoping he’ll let me take his first day of school pic. One can never take too many photos of their children!
Was he a little worse for the wear, Jessica? 🙂
Tammy, why does that not surprise me one bit? You have always exuded a joy for motherhood!
Cute Miss Hot and Rich. That’s right….. speak it girl! :O)
Thank, Diane! It was too good to pass up. 🙂
