There’s a special place in my heart for the Genesis contest as I truly believe my finaling last year led to the sale of The Familiar Stranger. Accordingly, I’m THRILLED to post the names of the 2009 finalists!
Congratulations to all, but an extra special shout-out to the ladies who so often leave comments here. Of course, I also read their blogs. 🙂 In fact, that’s where I’m headed next. Way to go, Ashley, Jennifer, Ane, Patty, and Jody–you DOUBLE FINALIST, you!

Thanks Christina! I’m just praying God will open the right doors at the right time. I’ll be spending my summer polishing both of my books until they shine!! Then I’ll be ready for ACFW in Sept. and who knows, maybe I’ll be able to perk the interest of an agent or editor, just like you did!
Somehow I must’ve forgotten (or didn’t know) that finaling was how you sold. How cool is that!
I thought you won last year!! 🙂 How fun! I am where you were a year ago…. chizang chizam! 🙂
Good luck to all, and to all a good luck.
Remember, ladies, I “only” placed second! Just as Chris Daughtry showed us on American Idol, winning isn’t everything. 😉
