There were a whole bunch of Berrys around this weekend. Kev’s brother and his family–well, half the fam–spent a few days with us. One of their sons was in Montana at Acquire the Fire. The other, whom we never actually got to see, was wrestling at my alum, Pacific University. I still can’t believe we didn’t get to see him! He stayed with the rest of the team and we couldn’t make to watch his matches because there was a Taekwon-do tournament.
Last tourney, our whole family participated and brought home nine trophies. This time Kevin was the sole representative. The only way my instructor would allow me to miss the tournament was if I had a doctor’s note. Got that covered. 😉
Here’s the trophy table and Grand Master Hansen.
The boy cousins. (Aren’t they cute enough to eat?)
The girl cousins. (Also delicious.)
Kevin with his FIRST place trophy for his hyung (form).
The adults out for dinner. Okay, the kids were there too, but they were on the opposite end of the table.
We had a great time! I choose to not stress about the house or my injury. Instead I focused on enjoying their company.
My favorite blog of them all. Wow, if I must say so myself, how gorgeous those children are. We had such a nice time with you guys, even if you were one legged. Can’t wait to see you at Christmas. Love you guys! Thanks for having us.
Happy Thanksgiving!!!
